Cocoa - Cafetería Familiar in Barcelona

"Cozy, tidy and nice place to go if you have a baby from 0-3years. The place is really good if you want to spend some time with no worries with your family. The place has plenty of toys for toddlers and the floor is really clean for those that are still crawling. In this space you can enter with no shoes or with a shoes protectors. Everything is nice. They propose a variety and healthy dishes for kids and adults. I really like it! My only suggestions to be more sustainable and eco-friendly will be the introduction of bamboo dishes instead of plastics and paper-based straws instead of plastic."

"We only had some delicious coffee and enjoyed the special interior outside. They have a lot of space and toys inside for kids, so for parents it seemed a great place. The staff was quite distant and didn't give us a welcoming feeling."

"This Play Cafe is a GEM in a bustling tourist area with not a huge amount to do with toddlers, this cafe is incredible. Where should I start? The food is hands down one of the best I've had in Barcelona - wholesome, tasty and so beautifully presented. My kids and I literally gobble our food up without much talk! The relaxed vibe and the variety of toys and colours are enough to keep my 3 under 3 entertained for about 2 hours. On the weekend evenings the especially like the disco room! The service is also fantastic, super friendly and inviting, I have nothing but praise to give this place."

"Been here two times, never dissapoints! For me it’s a best place to have brunch in Barcelona. Benedict eggs - amazing, I especially like the ones with salmon. Cocoa pancakes are amazing too, they serve them with fruits, peanut butter, rice puffs. And for matcha lovers - they have matcha !"

"A lovely spot to go with young kids. They have many great toys and dress up clothes to play with and a great selection of food for kids and parents. The waiting staff is very friendly but a bit disorganized at times (for example, yesterday the waiter took my order and after 30 minutes waiting for the food he came to me to ask what it was again what I ordered, he clearly forgot) but that's normal for a cafe that's just starting up I guess. Another thing that I would like to see improved: get rid of the single in plastic wrapped cookies that come with the coffee and replace the plastic straws for bamboo, metal or paper ones.."
